Indie developer Megapops, maker of the popular “Millie Was Here” kids book apps for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch, today released major updates to its “Meet Millie” and “Millie & The Lost Key” titles which add narration and text in 11 languages, as well as high-resolution graphics optimized for the Retina display on the new iPad.

The best iPad book we’ve ever seen.  And that’s saying something. It’s funny.  It’s tongue-in-cheek clever.  It’s ridiculously cute.  It’s got great sound effects and a perfect narrator too.  Plus it takes awhile to read, so you’ll get your money’s worth.

The app has great background music, delightful narration and a charming interactive interface that will please adults as much as children…Getting to explore the book as the story is read makes for a very satisfying experience overall. It is clever, funny and deeply engaging.
